Custom veneers are made from ultra-thin layers of dental porcelain. The porcelain mimics the translucency of natural tooth enamel to provide a completely natural appearance. After designing your veneers, the dentist will prepare your teeth and take a dental impression. A ceramist uses this model of your smile to create your veneers. You’ll wear temporaries during the fabrication stage. When your porcelain veneers are complete, Dr. Wiese will remove the temporaries and bond your permanent veneers in place.
